In the very architecture, on buildings’ front walls Gilewicz found places suitable for installation of his paintings, replicas of architectural components. The paintings are limited to a very strict minimum of gestures and colors, to become a link between the true element of the reality on one hand and the art and its abstract aspect on the other. Throughout a month the paintings obscured the real elements of the landscape, ideally imitating basement windows, sidewalk slabs, elements of the balustrade, windowsill or even of the balcony of the foundation’s neo-Gothic building.
